Cookie and local storage noticeSession, security and referral preferences
The sections below form this notice. A more specific transaction disclosure accepted at checkout controls for that transaction.
Public pages
Public pages do not use advertising pixels or session replay. Where referral remembering is enabled, selecting Accept optional cookies or saving Creator referral cookies as enabled permits an optional first-party cookie containing a random reference, plus a consent preference. The server stores a hash of that reference, the creator link, consent version and a 30-day expiry. Ordinary server security and access logs may still be created when a page is requested.
Member session cookies
The service uses Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookies for the authenticated member session and a limited sign-in-device throttle. They are essential to provide and protect member access, are not available to page scripts, and are not used for advertising.
Device-bound browser key
Authenticated member pages store a non-exportable signing key and limited device-registration information in the browser. The key helps secure requests for one-use live-stream tickets. It does not store brokerage credentials, wallet keys, or a full signal archive.
Display preferences
The member workspace remembers your selected Set, asset filter, card spacing, time display, steady-card setting, sound preference and getting-started progress in local storage for your account on this browser. These functional preferences contain no signal payloads, payment details, passwords or access tokens. You can change them in Display preferences or remove them with your browser’s site-data controls. Blocking this storage does not prevent sign-in or delivery; preferences then last only for the current visit.
Payment providers
Opening Stripe Checkout moves the user to a separate provider that may use its own cookies or storage under its own notices. Algo Set does not use those third-party services to place advertising cookies on authenticated member pages.
Creator referrals
You can use a creator link or actively enter a creator code without agreeing to a tracking cookie. Remembered referrals apply only to the selected Set and browser, for up to 30 days; browser deletion or restrictions may shorten that period. An entered code takes priority over the latest qualifying consented referral. Your selected referral is preserved with a submitted application, then fixed for the account and Set at first paid activation. Using both routes creates one attribution. Renewal credit follows the creator agreement, not cookie expiry. Referral credit alone does not reduce your price or subscribe you to email marketing. Creators receive aggregate reporting, not your personal details.
Referral controls
Use Cookie settings to reject optional cookies or change preferences. We remember acceptance and rejection for 180 days in an essential preference cookie and hashed server record bound to this notice. The optional referral category starts off. Reading the page, scrolling or using the site does not give consent. Both choices are equally prominent and rejection does not block membership or manual creator codes. Revoked or expired preference tokens cannot restore referral memories. Forgetting removes browser referral cookies and their corresponding active lookup records; it does not erase completed application, purchase or commission records. Expired or disabled records cannot attribute a new purchase and are purged during referral-service maintenance. Account privacy requests and applicable retention rules govern transaction records.
Future analytics
Nonessential analytics or marketing storage must not be enabled without updating this notice and implementing any consent or opt-out mechanism required for the visitor’s jurisdiction.
Controls
Blocking essential session storage may prevent sign-in, delivery, or continuity checks. Browser controls can remove local storage and cookies, but removing them may sign the member out or require continuity to be re-established.
