This notice explains how Algo Set LLC handles personal information. The Terms of Service describe the subscription contract; neither document removes privacy or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
This notice covers the public site, application, membership, delivery service, support, and related records. Algo Set is the product name; the current operator identified at the top of this notice is responsible for the processing described here, including notification requests made before any checkout.
Categories collected may include identifiers and contact details; country and subdivision; application and trading-experience responses; acknowledgments and consent records; subscription and transaction metadata; device, network, authentication, security, and usage records; support communications. The application does not request brokerage positions, net worth, income, or risk tolerance for advisory personalization.
Information is used to process and review applications, verify email, apply eligibility and capacity rules, prevent fraud and abuse, create and administer membership, provide and secure delivery, process payments, send transactional records, support customers, preserve evidence, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims.
Information comes from you, your device and service interactions, Stripe payment events, email-delivery and security services.
AWS hosts the platform and SES sends service email. Stripe processes hosted checkouts and billing. Algo Set provides the realtime member page and private JSON WebSocket endpoint on algoset.io. Providers receive only the data needed for their enabled role. Legal and professional advisers may receive information to meet obligations or protect rights.
Algo Set does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not use advertising pixels or session replay on authenticated member pages. If that practice changes, this notice and any legally required choice mechanism must change before collection or sharing begins.
The contact form collects your name, email, selected topic and message to answer your request. Contact details and message contents are encrypted in our delivery queue and sent to our support inbox through our email provider. Protected identifiers and submission times help prevent abuse. Contacting support does not subscribe you to marketing or verify account ownership. We may ask you to sign in before making sensitive account changes. Never send passwords, sign-in links, payment card details, API keys or wallet recovery phrases.
The supplied email is verified before review. Verification notices, exact acknowledgment receipts, eligibility and decision notices, and checkout-related records are transactional communications. Required transactional delivery is kept separate from optional marketing consent.
A visitor may separately request one email when purchases open or when a selected future Set becomes available to join. We send a link to confirm email ownership. The availability email is sent only after you deliberately confirm. An unverified request cannot reverse an unsubscribe. This request is not an application, approval, reservation, payment, or membership. We retain the email address in encrypted form, protected identity, selected Set, consent version, source page, delivery status, and unsubscribe state only as needed to deliver and document the requested messages, prevent abuse, honor opt-out, and meet legal obligations. Every notification email includes an unsubscribe control. Requesting a Set notification does not subscribe you to a general marketing newsletter.
Creator links and entered creator codes can credit the same partner, once per account and Set at first paid activation. An explicitly selected code takes priority; otherwise the latest qualifying consented referral applies. A referral selected with a timely purchase application is preserved during verification and review. Where referral remembering is enabled, we ask before storing an optional first-party referral cookie. The cookie contains a random reference; our lookup stores its hash, creator link, consent version and 30-day expiry. Remembering is limited to that browser and Set and may end sooner if browser data is removed. Without remembering, you can use an explicit code or a current link. On arrival, Accept optional cookies and Reject optional cookies have equal prominence. Optional remembering stays off until acceptance; you can also manage the referral category. We retain acceptance or rejection in an essential preference cookie and a hashed server record for 180 days, with the notice version, content hash and choice time. Referral memories still expire after 30 days. Use Cookie settings to change your choice. Withdrawal revokes the server-side preference and its linked referral memories; old tokens cannot restore them. New or changed purposes require a new choice. Existing transaction and commission records follow the retention and privacy-request process; withdrawal does not undo completed transactions. Creators receive aggregates, not customer identities, answers or payment details. Referral credit alone changes neither price, approval, membership duration nor email-marketing preferences. Eligible renewals follow separately agreed commission terms, not cookie duration. Commissions remain held for review and payouts remain disabled.
Public campaign links carry a fixed campaign and post reference without cookies or browser storage. If you choose the optional application checkbox, we associate only that reference with your application and its verification, review and membership outcomes to assess campaign effectiveness. It does not affect review, eligibility, capacity or pricing and does not subscribe you to marketing email. Unselected, missing or invalid references are reported together as direct or unknown. The reference follows the application retention period and deletion process; aggregate reports contain no applicant answers or contact details.
Authentication, registered-device, connection, membership, email-delivery, and security logs are used to protect the live service, preserve records, and investigate abuse.
Passkey authentication stores a public-key credential, credential identifier, label, use time, and related security metadata. The authenticator keeps the private key. Face, fingerprint, device PIN, and similar user-verification data are handled locally by the device or authenticator and are not received or stored by Algo Set.
Stripe processes checkout payment details under its own privacy terms. Algo Set receives payment and subscription status, provider identifiers, amount, currency, selected plan, payment-method category, and related fraud or dispute information, but not the full card number, wallet credential, seed phrase, or private key.
Authenticated member pages use an essential secure session cookie. The browser stores a non-exportable, device-bound signing key and limited registration information for secure live delivery. Current storage practices and third-party boundaries are described in the Cookie and Local Storage Notice.
Retention is based on the purpose and sensitivity of the information, membership and dispute periods, security and fraud needs, record-integrity requirements, and applicable law. One-time secrets are short-lived; ordinary logs are designed to exclude full session credentials and one-time access values.
Algo Set uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and affected individuals will receive legally required incident notices.
Depending on jurisdiction, a person may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, port, appeal, or opt out of specified processing. Signed-in members can download account information and submit requests under My account → Membership & billing → Your personal information, including after membership ends. For a complete copy, processor-held information or help without sign-in, use the support form or support@algoset.io. We verify ownership before sharing or deleting information and explain any retention exception. Requesting deletion does not cancel billing.
The application is intended for adults with legal capacity and is not directed to children. Do not submit information for a child.
The Terms of Service explain the service's warranty disclaimer, liability limits, third-party indemnification, termination rights and dispute procedures. This Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information; it is not consent to additional processing or a waiver of privacy rights. Nothing in the Terms or this notice removes rights, remedies, security duties or regulatory complaint rights that applicable privacy or consumer law does not allow us to waive. Ending a membership does not itself erase personal information: retention, deletion, access and correction requests remain governed by this notice and applicable law. Contact legal@algoset.io for privacy requests or concerns. An update to the website does not retrospectively replace the terms you accepted or authorize a new use of previously collected information.
The effective date and material changes must be shown in the published notice. Where required, material changes are communicated before the changed processing begins.
